Cervical Smears Now Available at The Travel Clinic Ltd

We are pleased to announce that we are now able to offer a cervical smear service at our Cambridge and Ipswich clinics.

A number of nurses with experience in Womens Health - including family planning, sexual health and cervical screening - have joined our team and are keen to offer routine smears for women who wish to attend at thier convenience for screening.

In addition, should any clients request screening for particular sexually transmitted infections, arrangements can be made.  Swabs may also be offered to women considering IUD or IUS fittings or who are symptomatic or show physical signs upon examination suggesting possible infection.  Should minor ailments such as Candida infection be noted during any procedures, our Independent Nurse Prescribers can suggest over the counter treatments or prescribed medication if indicated.

The cost is £120 for a cervical Smear.

HPV vaccines (Cervarix and Gardasil) are also offered at a cost of £140 per vaccine.  A course consists of 3 vaccinations.
